I have 20 years of experience running technology and operations for multiple registered investment advisors.

Most recently, I was the technology manager and a principal at Team Hewins, a spin-off of Hewins Financial Advisors. Prior to the spin-off, I was responsible for creating the new firm’s entire tech stack from scratch. With a go-live date set in stone and no room for error, I had to prepare all systems for the launch of Team Hewins.

While at Team Hewins, I established and maintained a strong cybersecurity posture to protect clients and their information. I designed a resilient and flexible technology structure that allowed Team Hewins to operate from nearly anywhere with a secure internet connection. This proved especially valuable in March 2020 as the entire team seamlessly transitioned to working remotely. 

Prior to Team Hewins, I supported Hewins Financial Advisors with their transition from Worldox to Box. During this time, I developed and executed a document transfer with no lost or missing documents. This was in addition to designing a folder structure specific to each department and its needs, and training 70+ employees on how to securely use Box. My effective handling of this complicated project paved the way for management of the entire technology stack at Hewins Financial Advisors.
